My boyfriend and I stopped off on our way out of Yellowstone to fire some old west guns.
We fired a flint lock rifle, the Colt Peacemaker revolver (Wyatt Earp)... read more and the Winchester 45. Rifle « the gun that made the West ». And it was awesome!! Aaron was our range instructor and he did a hell of a job teaching us how to work the guns as well as telling us about the history behind each particular model. He is a very knowledgeable person (and not only about guns!) he really took his time to make our experience as awesome as possible.

We then looked at the showcase of Yellowstone animals. Scott was very informative and we were pleased to have seen some on our trip to the US including a mama bear and her cub crossing the road in front of us.

Nick our range instructor was brilliant - extremely knowledgable about the weapons we fired, gave us totally clear instructions and demonstrations on each gun, helping us feel completely safe and confident when using the range.
I fired a flintlock musket, which must be pretty unique to here, and a real piece of history. Later I used an M1 Garand, a genuine WW2 weapon manufacturered in 1942, documented to have been used in Europe, then subsequently in Korea.
All round this was a fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable experience, even for a relative novice in using serious firearms. More

They have a very wide selection of hand guns to long guns; from flintlocks to fully automatics. They will share the history, use and safety of their weapons.
Even if you never fired a weapon, you will be safe here, learn a lot and have a unique experience.
